Protein Science School
Protein Science School
The Protein Science School not only deepens and extends the participants' knowledge of theoretical principles of modern protein science, but additionally puts it into the actual context of neighboring disciplines in the modern life sciences and molecular medicine. Renowned international experts in the field are invited as guest lecturers in accordance with the different thematic sessions of the school. Attendance to the Protein Science School is obligatory for all iGRASPseed members.
Topics presented by guest lecturers during the Protein Science School are debated together with the doctoral fellows, giving them the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the respective fields and to learn discussing scientific topics. All iGRASPseed fellows must organize at least one teaching session with the support of their Principal Investigator and the iGRASPseed management.
Normally the program will starts at 1.30 p.m. with a lecture (2 x 45 min) given by the Principal Investigator of the inviting group. After this lecture two fellows will give a progress report about 20 min plus discussion. In the afternoon around 5 p.m. an external speaker will give a guest lecture.
